STOP KILLING DOGS!!
Every year over 2,000,000 dogs get brutally killed in South Korea for their meat. That is over 5,000 dogs per day - burned, electrocuted, beaten or hanged to death.
United Dogs have opened the campaign web page at
www.uniteddogs.com/stopkillingdogs where you can sign the petition and share the link with your friends.
The petition will be presented to South Korean officials by Korea Animal Rights Advocates (KARA) group when we get at least 1 million signatures or more.
You can read about the legal and historical background of the South Korean dog meat industry at the aforementioned webpage and follow the provided links for more information.
We ask for your help in spreading the word to as many people as possible. We are looking for volunteers who are willing to distribute the "Stop Killing Dogs" campaign flyers. You can give them out everywhere you go - that means the vet´s office, parks, cafés or dog exhibitions. If you want to get behind this campaign then please contact rami.lill@uniteddogs.com and we will send you the flyers from our Tallinn office.
Visit http://www.uniteddogs.com/stopkillingdogs now and sign the petition, because international pressure on the South Korean government is the only way to change the life of millions of dogs for the better.
Thank you for your help,

Police Dogs Die in Hot Car
The temperatures in the UK at the moment are regularly pushing 30 degrees Celsius, and with the NHS issuing advice to everyone to keep cool, we really should be applying the same advice to our pets!
Everyone knows how uncomfortable it is entering your car when it has been sat in the sun all day, almost unbearable sometimes. If pets are left in these conditions with no ventilation or water, they will suffer greatly and it may be fatal.
A spokesperson the The Dogs Trust charity commented that they were greatly saddened by this incident and reminded dog owners that it can take just 20 minutes for these conditions to prove fatal to a dog when locked away in a car. During a heatwave like the one we are experiencing now, temperatures within cars can reach in excess of 40 degrees C.
Please be extra careful when transporting your pets in these conditions, make sure you can keep them cool and always make sure they stay hydrated.
Enjoy the lovely weather!!
Best Wishes

Summer Lovin' Leather Dog Collars
They come in a vast assortment of colours, all with matching leads and an assortment of cuffs, which are great to keep both your hands free when out and about with your pooch. (They look pretty funky too!!)
Take a look at some of our more summery colours.
These fantastic leather dog collars are made from the finest Italian leather across the pond in California, however they are perfect for fun loving pups who love nothing better than getting covered in dirt and finding the muddiest of puddles, as the patent leather can easily be wiped clean!Right now, you can buy a full set (ie collar, lead and cuff) with 20% off the RRP.
Look the part this summer, or just brighten up a gray day.

Welcome Back!!
Things have been unbelievably busy here at Little Scruffs Pet Boutique. We made the decision to resource all our products to make sure every single one of them is 'sweatshop free'. We now refuse to stock any item which is quickly and cheaply produced in the Far East, so as you can imagine our task has involved a lot of work!
However, we are now confident that we offer all of our customers a fantastic range of products which come from small designers across America, Australia and Europe. (All at a similar price as any mass produced pet products :-) )
Please take a look round our store to see whats new, we'll keep you updated with each new line.

Gizmo's Washing Basket Kidnap!!!
She still doesn't know how I managed to move the basket out of the kitchen, into the living room (next to the fire of course!!) and turn it upside down to make my own little fortress! Well I'm afraid I can't reveal my secrets here in case she read's it.
After a long negotiation we agreed that I would settle for a new cat bed, in turn for leaving her clean washing alone. I picked a lovely snuggly blanket and pillow set which mum has put by the fire for me! You have to be firm with your humans sometimes :)
Have a lovely day
Rachael and Gizmo xx

The Story Of the Chinese Dog Left in a Car
This week a Chinese man was re-united with the dog he missed for a month. So where was it? Where he left it, well almost. The 80 year old took his 3 wheel car in to a city garage for repair. Forgetting he'd left the dog in the car, he even forgot which garage he'd left the car in!
After a couple of week's the caring sharing garage owner, who had no space in his garage, went and parked it at a shopping centre and waltzed off, with the dog still inside!! Anyway after a month of trying to remember the old man twigged which garage he'd gone to.
In the interim, local traders had opened a window and were feeding the dog through the window. That was food in, but no way out. As the stench rose they smashed a window, but the poor smelly hound wouldn't come out. That was until his master came calling. A happy, but smelly end for sure. Are today's pensioners out of control?
